What do you do?

My friend Heather Gold has a live talk show where she cleverly tricks interesting people into saying very interesting things around a theme of her devising. If you live in San Francisco, you should attend, it is just your kind of thing! They happen at the JCC. You have to buy tickets in advance, because she sells out. I’m not kidding.
The theme for next month’s show is “What do you do?” From her site:
What do you do: is the conversation starter of choice for many Westerners. What if you can’t describe what you do? What if your income and vocation are different? In an economy in which people change jobs frequently are we forced to really dig to find out what we offer to the marketplace/world that’s unique?
To get people in the mood for the show, which, by the way, will be available as an MP3 podcast styles download AND select video highlights for internet streaming pleasure, Heather has devised a clever Flickr meme for you to participate in. That is what I, as an online community expert/consultant to the stars, call, “leveragizing the interwebs.”
What do you do? Write it on a note card and stick it to your forehead. Take a photo. Make sure its not going to get you fired. Upload it to the pool. Come to the live show. Meet online friends afterwards and have intense conversations!
