If only the meat train took us to burger town…

Yesterday Katie and I posted our 26th I want to see that Podcast, live on tape from Katie’s childhood bedroom in Baytown, TX. I wanted to film the episode in the car as we drove there from Austin, but Katie was concerned that I would crash the car while trying to be funny for the camera. She is probably right.

This episode features our discussions of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Swing Vote, Frozen River, In Search of a Midnight Kiss and The Midnight Meat Train. My pick of the week would have to be In Search of a Midnight Kiss for being a black and white movie about a guy going on a Craigslist date.

I’m all for a good, gory horror movie, but I am so over watching dozens of young women be executed in creative ways just to show how terrible humanity can be. I get it! Murderers are lurking everywhere waiting for their opportunity to grind my legs into sausage while I watch! I really don’t want to start thinking about human flesh as MEAT… it will ruin my appetite.

Speaking of which, we saw the X-Files last night, and I can report that all of the sausage grinding is done tastefully. And there are evil Russians! Also, hot sexy Mulder on Scully action! I recommend.
